Back to Training

A 29-year-old lifter with a locked knee and a torn meniscus had already been offered the quick option elsewhere: trim it out, back in the gym in a month.

The second opinion changed the math. The tear pattern was repairable, and at 29, a preserved meniscus is decades of cartilage protection. Repair meant a slower recovery — protected weight bearing, months of progression — in exchange for keeping the knee's shock absorber.

Six months later: full training, no restrictions, and a decision he calls the best trade he's ever made.

Shared with the patient's written consent. Individual results vary — every recovery depends on the condition, the procedure, and the person.
